The New Energy - Runes

The world is restless and experiencing a wave of new energy.  It is penetrating our old ways as well as giving us completely new ways of doing things.

The ancient runes are not exempt.

You may be familiar with the runes and think of them as tiles/markers with foreign looking character(s) on them.  A rune is actually the energy of the character on the tile - not the tile itself.

Each rune stands alone or can be combined with other runes to form new energy signatures (binding the runes).

Rune Masters are finding exciting new ways of using & binding the runes…seeing and using the old or the runes in a different way.

One example of this is ISA:

old meaning – ice, standstill

old secondary meaning - protection for healer

new meaning -barrier, shield

Another new healing energy is being released from the runes.  In the past, the use of runes for healing was obscure.   It is now raising up with new interpretations of the runes & new rune binds especially for health & healing. As well, we are encouraged to carry the appropriate rune in our pocket or personal medicine bag – like crystals.

Think of Hagalaz

Typically, Hagalaz tells of a crushing storm of hail.

Think of it as a crushing storm smashing everything in its way.  It becomes the force breaking down gall, kidney and bladder stones.

Still another new energy is achieved by combining rune and crystal energy.  These were fashioned by Ann and Melvin Ollhoff of Ohio.
