Angel of the Day
Major Lines
First let’s identify the four major lines of the

Note that many people only have three of the

Who’s Who and What’s What (prep for AHP December mtg)
Psychic, Intuitive, Medium,
Channel – what’s the difference?
There is much confusion among both those seeking services & even those giving services as to who really does what in the psychic/metaphysical world. As well, the standard dictionary definitions are stiff & woefully inadequate, often leaving the seeker more confused than before.
Here are some real definitions of words you will need to know as you navigate through the metaphysical world
Psychic – psychic work
is the process of gathering information using means other than the 5 normal
senses. ESP, extra-sensory perception
(beyond the senses) is used. ESP encompasses the clairs – clairaudience, clairvoyant,
clairessentient, and claircognizant.
The
information is gathered and brought back to the physical plane, where the
psychic must interpret it to the client.
She must be careful not to give her own bias on it, but give back to the
client exactly what she received.
Physics can turn their ability off and on.
Intuitive –
Intuitives work much like psychics, but information tends to come to them in
flashes that rush in. This leaves the
intuitive less in control. These flashes
that come out of the blue are crisp and clear and do not need to be interpreted. In a perfect world, the inituitive ability is
a backup to the psychic ability should it fail or be faulty.
Empath – Empathy literally
means “beside symptoms”. An empath should
be a powerful healing force. Empathy
allows people to share with another in a deep and spiritual fashion what they
are experiencing. A complete empath is
also psychic and connects with the client for deep healing and release. The incomplete empath is not psychic, or does
not employ her psychic abilities - connecting with the other person, taking on
their symptoms without allowing them to release. By not processing the symptoms, they are
bound within the empathy and the empath takes on the symptoms herself.
Channel – A channel
is a person who can set herself aside completely and be a conduit, a telephone
wire, for words and forces such as healing and love.
Medium – A medium is
a person who connects with the deceased.
An evidential medium works as a channel for the deceased and will give
precise and exacting information about the deceased.
An experiential medium works with guides and
the information that is provided is more general.
A trance
medium is a medium who goes into a temporary state of suspension of consciousness and allows an outside intelligence to provide
information through them. This is
usually be used as a means of communication with the dead.
Automatic writing
(psychography) – Automatic writing is defined as a psychic ability which allows
an individual to produce written words without consciously writing.
